Protect bird nests from predation caused by other birds and animals pecking or chewing the hole bigger to get to the young.

These are made from metal, we see many vendors offering wood or even plastic options which do not offer any protection from squirrels or rats.

Though we’ve moved on from the days when we would cut them out on our guillotine, punch & drill these out the holes individually, today we have the help of our CNC, they are still all finished by hand, ensuring they leave us without any burrs or sharp edges.

Available in 3 different sizes, 25mm hole, 28mm hole and a 32mm hole. That suit different birds. You can either match them to your current box holes or if you want to change the occupancy of a box with a larger hole.

These simple plates are made from aluminium, so they won’t rust, simply screw over the holes with the screws provided.

Originally all cut and punched by hand, these are now created on CNC and finished by hand.

Yes, you can buy cheaper but plastic or wood protectors are not strong enough to deter a determined squirrel, rat, woodpecker etc.

We do our best to minimise plastic in our packaging. excluding any tape to secure the outside, sometimes if we are sent something in packaging that we can re-use, we will use this rather than bin it.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲?

This Part begins its life in a full sheet of aluminium.
It then gets cut into a flat shape cutout, using our in-house CNC cutting machine.
After this, if it’s to be folded or formed, we do so by hand on our manual press brake.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 & 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴

We do our best to avoid as much plastic as possible in postage, however occasionally, if we receive items wrapped in plastic and it can be re-used, we will do so. Similarly, we may also reuse boxes sent to us.

𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀

We accept returns on our off-the-shelf items, custom parts however we do not, a proof can be supplied in advance of fabrication, should you need to confirm any design before we start to work on it. Obviously all the above is subject to our standard terms.
